The DAWGS of Murphy and the Murphy Tribute Association are teaming up for the 7th Annual DAWGS Family Photography Charity Event to support the Murphy Veterans Tribute. The event will be held on Sunday, November 10th, 2024, Veterans Day weekend from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Each year the DAWGS hold a family photography event to help families with family portraits in time for the holidays, and to help a local charity. This year the DAWGS and Murphy Tribute Association are teaming up. The event is called DAWGS for Heroes and proceeds benefit the Murphy Tribute Association to help fund the Murphy Veterans Tribute.
For a minimum $75.00 tax-deductible donation, families will have a professional quality outdoor photography session with a DAWGS photographer at Central Park in Murphy, located at the West entrance near PSA Sports. Families will be able to download their high-quality photographs within days of the event and have use of the images for non-commercial purposes. Photographers can provide special editing at an extra charge, if needed. The sessions will be booked in 20-minute intervals and families can sign up for multiple sessions, although a minimum donation is asked for each session.
Santa will be there with photo opportunities. No early sign up is needed for Santa pictures. Come any time between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. For a picture with Santa, a $5.00 donation is recommended.
